AGC ModulesPurposeThe following training modules have been developed for the purpose of promoting understanding, knowledge and skills among administrators, educators and parents so that: - Students with disabilities have greater access to the general education curriculum
- Students with disabilities have opportunities to develop meaningful social relationships and friendships
- Students with disabilities engage in meaningful and relevant instruction
Each topic will include a PowerPoint presentations with the corresponding handouts for activities and videos for each topic. Trainer notes are also included as a guide to assist the creative process. Topics have been identified in early childhood, elementary and secondary levels. These topics are the critical components to the effective education of students with disabilities. While the sessions may be presented in any combination, the topics are listed in the recommended sequence for optimal training cohesion. Select appropriate training resources by grade level:
