Work Order

iTCCS Work Order tracks inventory and provides documentation regarding manpower and cost of materials involved in maintenance, repair, and construction jobs. The Work Order application also allows the user to create detailed records about the acquisition of materials and their transfer to individual locations throughout the district prior to their use in jobs.

Overall, the Work Order application provides a means for maintaining a comprehensive inventory record. Additionally, it can be used for recording data related to maintenance and repair costs. This data is then used to generate printed work orders that may be forwarded to appropriate personnel to initiate repair and maintenance jobs. The application also performs many calculations necessary to determine inventory levels and work hours, and it makes that data available in printed reports.

The advantage of iTCCS Work Order is that it allows the user to establish a record which contains all of the data necessary for maintaining inventory, producing work orders, tracking materials use, calculating man-hours expended, and printing needed reports. In addition, the application controls work order accounting of costs associated with maintenance, repair, or new construction; tracks employees who worked on the job; stores data such as origin and completion dates; edits valid accounts and available monies from iTCCS Finance; and interfaces costs to the general ledger.
