Because all data for the district exists in a single database, district-wide standards are easy to enforce thereby ensuring the consistency of data across the district. Furthermore, since no requirement exists to first merge files and reconcile discrepancies, the generation of district-wide reports and aggregation of data, such as that for PEIMS, is greatly simplified.
