Texas Student Data System

Regional Education Stakeholders Forum
March 8, 2010 from 1:00-4:00 p.m.

Attendees to this interactive free forum hosted by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) will learn about the Texas Student Data System and have the opportunity to provide valuable feedback on the design and content of new reporting tools that will help teachers, principals and staff quickly diagnose issues and improve student performance. Requirements for the state-sponsored student information system will also be discussed.

The Texas Computer Cooperative is pleased to announce the release of its next-generation school software: TxEIS (Texas Enterprise Information System). The TxEIS Business system is Web-based, fully integrated, and supports the operational and reporting requirements of Texas districts, charter schools, private schools, and education service centers.

NCLB Title I, Distinguished Schools for 2009-2010

The Texas Education Agency’s Title I, Distinguished Schools prestigious designation recognizes schools that have consistently demonstrated strong academic performances over a three-year period. All of these Title I, Part A schools achieved the Academically Exemplary rating for the school year and have a residing population of 40% or more low income students - as reported on NCLB Consolidated Application for Federal Funding.

TAPPestry

TAPPestry is an annual conference hosted in conjunction with several area school districts and parent organizations. This years' theme is "Guiding Our Future: Charting the Course."
