netVision20-member schools are invited to participate in this seven-part series of electronic field trips. These programs discuss important events in U.S. History and are available through the netVision20 videoconference network. These electronic field trips are broadcast live via satellite from the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation in Virginia.

All programs are geared to grades 4-8. The content aligns with the 5th and 8th grade Social Studies TEKS and many 8th grade Social Studies TAKS. Please notice that each EFT has two live roadcasts, at 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. CT. The duration of each program is one hour.

Viewing is free, however, registration enables schools to have access to online lesson plans, activities, and resources, plus videotaping rights (for the life of the tape), and the opportunity to call in live during and immediately after the seven broadcasts.
