Instructional Technology offers numerous programs and services to assist schools to effectively integrate technology in the K-12 classroom. These programs and services support the No Child Left Behind Education Law, the Texas Long Range Plan for Technology 2006-2020, and address the Teacher Technology Competencies as well as the Technology Applications TEKS. • Apple Training
  As an Apple Authorized Training Center, ESC-20 offers monthly 3-day courses on Final Cut Pro 6, the new iPod Touch Academy, and multiple additional training opportunities on  curriculum integration with Apple software applications. Registations are open in iLearning.
  
  
• iPod Academy: A Multi-Intelligence Learning Environment
  Teams of one to three educators from each participating campus are invited to join us in a 4-day academy and learn about the possibilities of podcasting and media-based activities, and their positive impact on the learning experience.
  
  
• Professional Development
  From basic technology competencies to customized programs especially designed to meet your campus or district specific needs, ESC-20 offers an array of professional growth options to fit everyone's needs. • Technology Leadership Institute
  A one, two or three-day institute especially designed for campus administrators. Campus leaders may choose to include a one-day Handhelds for Administrators training on the last day of the institute. 
  
  
• Teachers as Technology Leaders Institute
  A three-day institute especially designed for campus technology facilitators or campus instructional technologists
  
  
• Paraprofessionals Technology Institute
  A three-day institute for paraeducators that focuses on technology basics to assist with classroom instruction.

STaR Chart, Technology Planning and E-Rate Assistance
Instructional Technology staff provides assistance to districts with the development and revision of technology plans to meet the recommendations for LEAs in the Long Range Plan for Technology 2006-2020, as well as to meet requirements for NCLB Title II, Part D and E-Rate funding.
