Apple Pro Apps courses are designed to keep participants at the forefront of Apple's digital media technology while giving them a competitive edge in today's ever changing job market. Whether you are a Technology Applications teacher, an editor, graphic designer, sound designer, special effects artist, student or amateur, these training tools are meant to help you expand your skills.

FCP 101: An Introduction to Final Cut Pro 6 (three-day course)

The $820 fee includes Apple curriculum materials and end-user online certification exam. Class size is limited to 5 participants. Please check below for cost of exam only.

This three-day hands-on course introduces students to the primary feature set and basic interface of Final Cut Pro 6. In this course, you learn to perform basic editing functions while familiarizing yourself with the Final Cut Pro 6 interface.

This class is designed for anyone looking to edit professional-quality video using Apple's innovative Final Cut Pro 6 software. Understanding of the Macintosh OS and basic computer navigation is desired. Look forward to hands-on, interactive instruction designed to maximize your understanding of the full functionality of Final Cut Pro 6. At the end of this course, you will have two weeks to take the FCP end-user certification exam.

This three-day hands-on course will familiarize students with Motion, Apple’s revolutionary software for motion graphics design. The course comprehensively covers working with Motion’s Real-Time Design engine and interface, behavior-based animation, parameter behaviors, blend modes, advanced particle system design, advanced title animation, working with templates, chroma key techniques, masking methods, DVD motion menu design, tablet-driven gesture UI techniques, working with audio, keyframing, and integration.

This course is designed for those students who wish to learn the fundamentals and functionality of Motion.
