PEIMS encompasses all the data requested and received by TEA about public education, including student demographic and academic performance, personnel, financial, and organizational information.
PEIMS is a data management system used to produce comprehensive and detailed information accurately reflecting public education activity in the 1000+ school districts and 6000+ campuses throughout the state of Texas. Standard reports are produced from each annual collection. These reports, called "core products" are publicly available through the information server available on the TEA website.
Reports that are available are student related (enrollment counts by grade, ethnicity, economic state, G/T, Bilingual, etc.) or personnel related (full time employment counts, degrees, salary, etc.).
