White House Science Fair features Texas Students Tuesday, February 7th
Students from Presidio ISD in Region 18 attended the White House Science Fair. They had a rocketry team that qualified for the science fair that was held on February 7, 2012 at the White House. President Obama spoke to all the students competing in the science fair. He specifically talks about the group from Presidio and how they got there. The President talks about them beginning around the 5:25 mark of the video, for about one minute.
Students from Nimitz MS which feeds into the STEM RAM T-STEM Academy at Lee HS in NEISD were also in attendance at the White House Science fair. They are seated in the front row, far right watching President Obama as he delivers his address to the students.
