Education Service Center, Region 20 assists districts and charter schools in the area of dropout prevention by providing professional development and resources to increase opportunities for youth in at-risk situations, including students with disabilities, to receive a quality education and graduate from high school. Access to resources such as the National Dropout Prevention Center, National Dropout Prevention Center for Students with Disabilities, and Service Learning are also provided.
National Dropout Prevention Center/Network The mission of the National Dropout Prevention Center/Network is to serve as a research center and resource network for practitioners, researchers, and policymakers to reshape school and community environments to meet the needs of youth in at-risk situations so these students receive the quality education and services necessary to succeed academically and graduate from high school.
