The overall purpose of effective planning is to attain the educational goal of equity and excellence for all students. ESC-20 provides guidance and technical assistance to districts and campuses in developing improvement plans which reflect current provisions in state and federal statutes and address local needs. The campus improvement planning process is designed to identify school improvement efforts that effectively address the needs of all student populations served.
