School Administrators Skills Assessment (SASA)-TPLI
This center is recommended for school administrators or aspiring administrators who have little or no prior experience in skills diagnosis or drafting a professional development plan. Participants spend one day in three job-like simulations that provide an opportunity to demonstrate skills in ten critical areas. Participants receive written feedback, a follow-up conference, and a development guide.

Principal's Individual Assessment (PIA)
The assessment is an SBEC approved assessment developed by Region 5 and Lamar University. Participants engage in six activities that simulate twenty-six administrator leadership skills that are submitted to assessors for their evaluation. Two of the six activities include the delivery of a videotaped campus action plan and a committee meeting brainstorming session on how to increase student achievement. A substantial amount of the assessment is done as pre-work that the participant brings with them on the day of assessment. Two days after assessment, participants receive feedback from a certified assessor, as well as, formulate a five year plan to target specific areas for professional growth in their chosen profession.
