Common CRE Findings

• Schools are claiming more Free/Reduced meals than the number of Free/Reduced approved.
• Schools are claiming more Free/Reduced meals than the number of Free/Reduced students actually in attendance.
• Accuclaim is not performed on a daily basis.
• Schools are reporting the same number of lunches in one or more categories for several days.
• Schools are reporting counts by category which end in the same number (example: all counts are ending in 0 or 5).
• Schools are reporting the same number of meals for breakfast that was served for lunch.
• Questionable patterns exist in any of the three categories.
