Program Concept/Design

Leadership Associates will:

  • Secure and work in an administrative position within the first year of entering the program (no later than August 31, 2009).

  • Submit a portfolio of artifacts and reflections illustrating application of the knowledge and skills necessary for the Principal Certificate

  • Evidence of the following:

    • Successful completion of training and six hours of university course work

    • Approved work experience

    • Prior training related to the standards for the Principal Certificate

  • Design and implement a stewardship/action
    research project based on campus needs

  • Meet formally on a regular basis with a mentor
    and an ESC-20 designee

  • Secure an assignment as an intern or administra-
    tor by August 31, 2009.
