Professional development for counselors is aligned with the American School Counselor Association National Standards and Competencies and Texas Education Agency Comprehensive, Developmental Guidance and Counseling Program (Pre-K - Grade 12). Topics will be addressed that will assist counselors in developing the four components in their guidance program - Guidance Curriculum, Responsive Services, Individual Planning and System Support.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be available for all professional development and LPC credit will be issued when appropriate.
