Texas Transportation Code Annotated §521.022 (Vernon Supp): Title 37 Texas Administrative Code §14.12, requires all Texas school bus drivers to undergo an annual medical examination. We are now proud to offer this valuable service on-site at your district location. Our program meets all DPS, DOT, and FHWA requirements. We will provide certified medical personnel, all necessary equipment and paperwork required to conduct these examinations. This program is administered in a timely and confidential manner, with the average time from arrival to departure estimated to be around 30 minutes. All bus driver physical examination results will be maintained for one year from completion. The program is oriented towards meeting the annual driver physical requirement and, at this time, is not designed for individual driver personnel. The cost of this program is $33.00, with membership in this cooperative required.
