An understanding of science makes it possible for everyone to share in the richness and excitement of comprehending the natural world. A sound grounding in science strengthens our educational system.
Many types of individuals will play a critical role in improving science education: teachers, science supervisors, curriculum developers, administrators, school board members, regional service centers, and state agencies.
A quarterly meeting of regional science coordinators will be held at ESC-20. At these meetings we will share ideas, methodology, and strategies to encourage success in the science classroom.
Meetings scheduled for the 2009-2010 school year are:
September 26, 2009
January 30, 2010
Meeting times: 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM Meeting location: ESC-20 Conference Center ESC-20 contact: Annette Venegas, annette.venegas@esc20.net, (210) 370-5478
